2013 Race Series - KFCX Moore Cowbell

  KFCX Moore cowbell cyclocross!

SUNDAYS: Sept 29 & Oct 13, 2013

Moore Park  - Klamath Falls, OR

One of the fastest grass courses in Oregon. Don’t worry we threw in some dirt, sand, a little asphalt, and some natural barriers.  If you haven’t raced this course, you are in for a treat.  This is an OBRA sanctioned event.

All bikes welcomes (unicycle, mtn bike, cyclocross bike….), all abilities and ages …. We have a race for everyone!

Registration opens at 8:30am and closes 15 minutes before each race.

10am (30 mins) - Cat C - Women/Men, Men 40+, Jrs (15yrs+), Unicycles (1 lap)

10:45am (40 mins)  - Cat B - Women/Men, Women/Men 40+, Singlespeed

11:45am                   - FREE KIDS RACE – (under 10 yrs old)

Noon (60 mins)        - Cat A - Men/Women, Men 40+

1:15pm (15 mins)    - Jrs (10 - 14yrs)    

Director reserves the right to combine classes for awards but all categories/classes will be scored separately

 100% of net proceeds - donated to Friends of Moore Park Trail fund

Entry fees 
Adults - $20 ea race ($30 for both days)
Juniors only - $5
2nd race same day - $5
Volunteer or bring a volunteer - $5 off full entry fee
 
OBRA license fees: 
Purchase OBRA licence at event or on online www.obra.org/membership/new
 
All participants must sign an OBRA waiver, wear a helmet, follow OBRA rules, and must have an OBRA license (except for the kid’s race).

Race winners (3 deep) - All classes (medals)
Series Winners (3 deep) 
    • Cat B/C/Juniors15+  Merchandise
    • Cat A - Cash (and/or Merchandise)
  (Note:  if classes are combined for series winners, prize payout will be 5 deep.)

You must race both dates to qualify for overall series placing.  Series standings are based on accumulated points from each race as follows 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 to 1 (for first 10 places). In case of tie, the rider who places better in the second race gets the tie-breaker point.
