2014 KFCX Moore Cowbell Cyclocross Race series

  KFCX Moore Cowbell Cyclocross!
One of the fastest grass courses in Oregon. Don’t worry we threw in some dirt, sand, a little asphalt, and some natural barriers.  If you haven’t raced this course, you are in for a treat.  This is an OBRA sanctioned event.

All bikes welcomes (Mtn bike, cyclocross, gravel grinder), all abilities and ages. We have a race for everyone!

Registration opens at 8:30am and closes 15 minutes before each race.

10am (30 mins)      Cat C (Women/Men, Men 40+) & Juniors (Girls/Boys 15-18yrs)
10:45am (40 mins)  Cat B (Women/Men, & Women/Men 40+), singlespeed, & Clydesdale (200lbs+)
11:45am            Free Kid's Race* (10 & under)
Noon (60 mins)      Cat A (Women/Men, Men 40+)
1:15pm (15 mins)  Juniors (10 - 14yrs) Women/Men

Director reserves the right to combine classes for awards but all categories/classes will be scored separately.
*Free Kid's Race is a fun & non-competitive event.  Parent/Guardian needs to sign a waiver for child to participate.

 100% of net proceeds - donated to Friends of Moore Park Trail fund

Entry fees 
Adults - $20 ea race ($35 for both days)
Juniors only - $5 ea race
2nd race same day - $5
Volunteer** - $5 off full entry fee
OBRA license fees  : 
Purchase OBRA licence at event or on online www.obra.org/membership/new
All participants must sign an OBRA waiver, wear a helmet at all times while on bike, follow OBRA rules,  must have an OBRA license (except for the kid’s race), and must follow Moore Park rules.

Race winners (3 deep) - All classes (award/medals)
Series Winners (3 deep) 
  • Cat B, Cat C, Clydesdales , Singlespeed, & Juniors15+   (awards and/or Merchandise)
  • Cat A - (Cash and/or Merchandise)
You must race both dates to qualify for overall series placing.  Series standings are based on accumulated points from each race as follows 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 to 1 (for first 10 places). In case of tie, the rider who places better in the second race gets the tie-breaker point. 

**Volunteers - we need course marshals, course set up & tear down.  Please let race director know ahead of time if you are able to assist, and we will knock off $5 off full race entry fee ($20 is the full race entry fee/race)
